Pegas counter pressure bottle filler for PET bottles

Post by Jeltz69 »

Before I place my order is anyone else interested in ordering a Pegas PET Bottle Filler like SteveC has? We can get a small reduction for combined postage if buying more than one.

I shall probably order tomorrow and its 90Eur for one or 170Eur for 2 although he does ask for a paypal gift payment so with cheaper fees there is a lack of protection but several people have bought them without issue.

I've enquired about the ecotap which is the same one as Steve has, AFAIK in order to use glass bottles you have to make a collar to hold the bottle in place, which people have done by starting with a metal washer and removing metal.

you will need to make a "C" washer from a stainless washer (I have a bag of them) to use as a spacer for glass bottles. The standard 500ml bottles like gem etc comes in will work. You can make the washer using an angle grinder in about 20 minutes. will post a pic. I only bottle in glass if its going to a comp as they don't accept plastic.

Like most bottling solutions remember that you need to chill your beer to get the best results.
