American style, 100 IBU's, OG 1.100 (or near). I've mashed it tonight and will boil and pitch tomorrow. The brand new Mr. Lard deluxe hop filter will be in effect.
Going to pitch a starter of 1L windsor and a pack of rehydrated lallemand Notty after some serious oxygenation. Might be ready to drink in October..
This will use up most of my home - grown cascade and most of my remaining Maris Otter. Might just have enough MO for a mild ready for May.

Elixir 100 - Barley Wine
I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

Re: Elixir 100 - Barley Wine
This has taken off like a rocket! It was bubbling within a couple of hours and by this morning had overwhelmed a large jar with a blow - off tube! Yeasty goodness all over the cellar floor..
It's got more extract in it than i'd planned as I over sparged. I also boiled for 2.5 hours instead of 2.
