BORROW (URGENT): Hot Condition Kettle Lead!

Post by periolus »

Could anyone in Fishponds/Eastville/St. Werburgh's or nearby lend me a Hot Condition kettle lead today? I have one, but the other has gone walkies and I could really do with two to run my boiler today. I will be boiling from about 1pm.

They sell them in The Range down at St. Phillips shopping complex - in the DIY section.

Nice one ; ) I think I'll split the brew day then. Will mash and sparge this morning, nip out and get the lead later, and then boil and chill tonight once the kids are in bed. The wort can wait in the boiler until then.

You're still welcome to borrow one from me if you want.

Cheers Taz - I managed to get down to The Range today and get one. Decided to leave the boil and chill until tonight after the kids are in bed.
