Re: WTD: aquarium heater
If you are using a fridge then a 60watt lamp will do the job

I need to make some holes for cables etc. first. On the task list!

Ate - I just squash my STC1000 and greenhouse heater wires in the fridge door ...
Re: WTD: aquarium heater
I drilled a hole in the back of my fridge for the tube heater wire. Made sure it wasn't where any piping was.
I fed the sensor into the fridge via the drain plug.
All in all, it took 30 minutes to set up it all up.

Good plan. I was going to drill through the door for heater cable and just shut the sensor cable in the door for now, as it won't be a unit dedicated to the fridge. Santa Claus might bring another one, in which case I will fit it into the door and have all the gubbins inside.
