Feedback has arrived

Very interesting to see what the two different judges thought. Fair comments though in the main.

Anyone else had theirs?

Aye, ditto. My nelson sauvin pale was, apparently, a decent belgian ale. Scored pretty poorly as an APA though. Should have concentrated on the style guidelines rather than what I aimed for.

Great to have the feedback and agree, all valid.
Good consistency between both judges on my entries.

It's interesting to see what people think of a beer in a critical sense, evaluating the beer as it is, as opposed to concentrating on suggestions for improvements as may be had (usefully) at a meeting.

I received my feedback today. It was of much more use than I thought it would be, especially when I sampled the beer again along with the notes.
The craft beer revolution will not be sanitised!

I haven't had my feedback yet but just got round to looking at my results on the website. I'm really hoping there was a typo for my IPA, according to the website it scored 1! I knew it wasn't great but 1, really? It should have scored that just for looking like a beer! My lager did better with 31 though so at least that's something.
Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.

There was a problematic judge who was scoring very harshly and leading the person he was judging with. Words were had with them.

Err, the scores on the sheets don't match the score on the printout, which is great, because the printed one is twice what the judges gave it. Shurely shome mishtake?

Evidently some error. Do you have sheets relating to the entries which are yours? Cam you tell me which entry number it is?

The scores on the printouts come from the flight summary sheets, which is where judges recorded their consenus scores. If they don't match, then something odd has happened.

Beer #7 (entry #7001) cat. 8B (I changed categories late on...) E-score 38, actual scores 21 (though if you add the scoresheet you get 19), and 17 (again, if you add the scoresheet you get 19). No qualitative comments, no suggestions for improvement, and no arithmetic ability. Plus, one of 'em's a recognised judge.

I'll take the high score.

Last beer of a long, long flight that one. People will have been tired.

And I have laid the smack down with a number of judges about poorly filled out scoresheets.
