Good idea Matt!

What might that other variety be though?

There was some interest in Bramling X at the meeting.

I'm interested in getting some Motueka.

Are we certain of their stocks of the NZ hops?. I'd certainly be happy to take at least 1kg of NS or Motueka or Riwaka and similar of one of the mainstream hops like cascade.

Paypal would be fine by me also.

They told me they have everything on the list in stock, but I can call and check on Monday.

Hi Ali,

Ideally I'd like 500g EKG, 500g of a high alpha English variety like Target and 500g of an interesting aroma/flavour variety such as Simcoe/Citra/Nelson Sauvin. I will take up any slack on Fuggles orders and am interested in trying Bramling X as well. I would also substitute the English high alpha variety for an American one if necessary.

Basically I'm not that worries as long as I get 1.5kg of hops with a balance between flavour and alpha acid. EKG are a must though.

Cheers,

Mark

I've run the numbers for orders, and I propose the following.

we order 5kg of:

Fuggles
EKG
Cascade
Nelson Sauvin

If we only order four varieties then postage would be 50p per kg.

Other varieties at the moment don't have much interest.....anyone want to suggest one? Bramling X looks like the next most popular and I'm pretty sure Colin wanted some.

Hi Ali,

Ali, what do you have me down for at the mo? Am I in on the Nelson Sauvin (500g)?
If not then I'll happily go for 500g Bramling Cross to help make the order up. I'm guessing that I'll be able to trade a bit of Bramling X for some Nelson Sauvin with someone once the order's in....

Cheers

I've got you down for 1/2 a kilo of Fuggles, EKG and Cascade. You had wanted Challenger too, but there's not enough interest. You could always have 250g Nelson Sauvin and 250g Bramling X.

Yep OK, that sounds great. 250g Bramling X and 250g of Nelson Sauvin in addition to the 500g Fuggles, 500g EKG and 500g Cascade.

Thanks

Ok, let's go for 5kg of

Fuggles
EKG
Cascade
Nelson Sauvin
Bramling X

There's still a little slack, so time for people to get orders in. I'll start working out 'invoices' for people.

We'll be doing this again before too long I reckon, after all my 2kg of hops is only 10 x 50 litre brews, or less if you hop like an American......
