Kit brewers, extract and novice brewers

Post by disasterjustavoided »

Wondered what thoughts were on having a "Kit brewers, extract and novice brewers section". Most of us started with these and therefore have a bit of knowledge that could be useful for people starting out.

I don't really see the need. There's already a brewing section and further subdivision would seem excessive on this board.

Pre fermentation a kit shouldn't raise any issues. Extract is not that far removed from AG brewing. All three are the same once they hit the fermenter so no real difference.

More importantly, if this forum started to fill up with kit questions it would end up being just like "the homebrew forum" and we really don't want that!
