WANTED: Glass Carboys (6.5 Gallon and 5 Gallon)

Post by periolus »

Does anyone have a either a 6.5 Gallon glass carboy, a 5 Gallon or both they might want to sell? I am thinking of changing my routine and using a secondary fermenter to condition beer and or dry hop in before bottling/kegging, which would use the 5G, but also fancy a glass primary for use as well.

I am happy to pay money, or part-trade for cash and extremely fresh eggs, or other materials that might be useful.

I also have another 5 gallon if you want it? Four dozen eggs (over a couple of weeks) or a tenner and it's yours.

Mike!

Sorry, chap - broadband has been out for bloody ages. Do you still have said carboy? I would gladly take it off your hands if so. Might have to be cash, as four dozen eggs takes some time to build up in our house, and that would mean they wouldn't be as fresh ; ( Could mix and match?

Anyway - if you still have it then let me know.

Or I could take a dozen a fortnight from you until the end of time (well, mid June) if the chooks are laying well. Every brewclub perhaps? I'll bring it to the Miner's on Thirs.

Hi Mike!

I won't be able to make the Miner's on Thursday, and unfortunately won't be at BJCP on Sunday. On the upside, both of which are due to being on holiday. Wahoo!

Could it be brought to the next BCB meeting?

All this talk of glass carboys on another thread has reminded me that I was interested in your 5 Gallon functioning replica of the one you broke spectacularly in your garden. Is it still on the market? What's the damage (no pun intended!)?

Yes, and four-weeks worth of eggs - four dozen should suffice (please see above).
