Wanted: a King Keg home brew barrel

Post by TheMaltings »

Greetings, all. I'm new to this parish, and very glad to find it. My name's Mark and I live in St Andrews.

I've got my first batch of home brew ale bubbling away in the kitchen, and realise I need to rack it off before 3rd November.

So: please does anyone have a 2nd hand King Keg home brew barrel that I could buy, please? Am happy to collect from Bristol or surroundings.

As a complete newbie, using the S30 Hambleton Bard CO2 cylinder looks like a decent bit of kit, so ideally, I'm looking for one of those as well. (Nothing ventured , nothing gained!)

Delighted to find Bristol Brewers 'cos otherwise I was looking into paying hefty postage / courier bills if I were to buy one on EBay from elsewhere around the country.

Thanks and best wishes,

Mark

If you can't find a second hand one you should be able to buy locally and avoid postage charges.
Pretty sure that Brewers Droop (Gloucester Road), Love To Brew (Brislington), and Homebrew Centre (Keynsham) carry those in stock.
Haskins also have barrels as far as I know, but not sure if they're King Kegs.
Taz... or Chris. It's up to you.
