Hiya fellas,
I'm on a mission to make things get hotter faster, and likewise get colder faster too. Does anyone have a suitable propane burner lying about they'd be willing to part with? I'm also looking for an immersion chiller, but hoping to avoid scumtree and epay for the time being.
Cheers dudes,
Eric

If you can't find a good second hand deal, Go Outdoors sell the large propane burners: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/continental ... er-p133059, and it will take about 15 minutes to make an immersion chiller from 10m of microbore, a couple of jubilee clips and some cheap garden hose.
Alternatively give me a shout if you want to borrow my kit. It sits in a cupboard most of the time.

Taz... or Chris. It's up to you.

I would recommend you go as big as you can. My burner is this one

and brings 23L to boil from lauter in around 15 mins. Bristol gas supplies in st philips may stock them too i think.

I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

I have a rudimentry copper coil you can have, it's not amazing but you are welcome to it if you want to collect it
60 percent of the time it works every time.
