Club-Only Competition - Wheat Beers - Results!

Post by alikocho »

Results are in for this round.

1st Place - Dom Anthony - East Anglia Shed Brewers
2nd Place - Mark Grundy - Bristol Brewing Circle
3rd Place - Pete Hughes - London Amateur Brewers
4th Place - Steve Syson - MCBA

Standings (after 2 rounds):
Shed Brewers - 16 pts
Bristol Craft Brewers - 12 pts
London Amateur Brewers - 12 pts
Bristol Brewing Circle - 8 pts

IPA (cat 14) up at the National in September and with individual points going to clubs for category wins the competition looks exciting for Club of the Year!

Just tried mine yesterday before adding the dry hops and I'm pretty happy with it. Will have to see how the Apollo changes it as a dry hop but I'm pleased so far. Pretty on style for an AIPA and tasty so I'm quietly confident ;-)

Well done BTW Mark :-)

I'm going to totally bring my extreme game to the IPA's. Kettle hops - lots and lots of them. Dry hops - even more (I have a lot of hops to use up...). Oh and malt.

You might need some yeast too.

Which club will that be for PUB or BBC?

I wasn't planning an IPA, but I might shelve something else and do Hop Bastard II: Revenge of the Hops. It will probably use up all my big west coast ganja cones.

Anyone got anymore 2010 citra?
