On the evening of Saturday, 14th April there is to be a tour by mini-bus of some of Bristols' best cider pubs and venues.
The bus leaves the Seven Stars at 18:50 (ten to seven in old money) so there’s a little time to sample their ciders before setting off.
The cost is £5 per person to cover the cost of the bus.
I'll be going, anyone else interested?

Which pubs?
Re: Bristol Cider Tour Saturday 14th April
Dunno!
I will try to fund out, but I think it's not been decided upon yet.
I am told however, it will be the best cider pubs in the Bristol area.

I'd imagine the Orchard, the Apple, Coronation Tap, Bristol Cider House, for starters...

You guessed it! Bristol Camra
I had a chat with Jerry Fletcher at the Bristol Beer Festival, he's the Bristol Camra 'Cider & Perry Representative'.
I expect you are bang on with The Orchard and The Apple, not sure about the rest, but I think the good old CPS (Cotham Porter Stores) is in there too!

The apple is a nice place, good location. Heaving with students and sickly sweet cider. I avoid it at all costs.

From the horse's mouth:
I still reckon the CPS will feature!the orchard , the coronation tap , the Bristol cider [Shop?] plus a couple of others yet to be decided.

Jerry informed me that this trip has been cancelled, presumably to to lack of interest or any meaningful show of commitment.
Ah well, at least there is a BBQ to go to instead!
