A baseball bat to whack the shit out of the local crusties/hippies won't suffice...

I'll be down Friday > Sunday.

I owe you all a LOT so I'm fully hands-on and willing to help as far as I can.

IN ADVANCE:
Happy to print/sort out labelling and bring those down?
Acting as drop-off point for beers.
ANything else I can do from a distance...

ON THE DAY/S:
Available to help with setup on Friday, and clean up end of event end of Saturday (or on Sunday).

BAR:
I can bring:
Gas bottle + 6-way regulator + 5 taps with disconnects (ball lock) and beer line (3/13") and drip trays and help setup a bar.
OR
(perhaps more practically)
one (possibly two) midget-widgets with ball-lock disconnects + taps/drip trays/tubing.

Happy to setup and pack down and man on a rotation.

SEMINARS:
I've emailed Brewlab about seminars (as at Skipton) but haven't heard back.
If that goes anywhere I'll see what can be done - can do the logistics of room setup and navigating people to and rom _+ clean up if I'm not stewarding at that time.

JUDGING/STEWARDING/FIELDWORK:
My plan is for my primary fieldwork to be on the day of the competition with the course and the exam as additional points of data. I'm trying to design and work out a method that doesn't interrupt the high intensity nature of it nor affect the way it all runs.
I've tried out my data-gathering technique and hope to pilot this/demo it in person at the August session on doctored beers. (It's just using a LiveScribe pen I'll provide and a standard BJCP form printed on paper I provide which then records audio and writing simultaneously) + one audio recorder on another table.
I won't be aiming to record the whole thing but one or two flights.
I shouldn't need to be around for this but think it would work best on the table/s I'm stewarding.

Hopefully those offers might help and I'll not be in the way with recording.

Anything else needed or lists of tasks - let me know.

I am an expert at dealing with hippies Roger, all I ask is that the drip trays are emptied into suitable jugs.
Long live SHA(T)!

Probably not. Plus, who's going to store the beast?

I bet someone would be able to offer it a good home... (And get a load of others to walk in roman-centurion fashion so SWMBO can't see what they're 'just going to pop in the kitchen - you'll hardly notice'...)

A 'prize'???

Excellent thinking.
