Cider & Pork Festival THIS weekend in Fishponds

Post by SteveW »

A few of us talked about going to this, Note that it is NOT ON MONDAY!

This place has changed hands quite a bit so it might be interesting to see what it's current incarnation is like!

I'd Like to go on Sunday anyone up for it?

From their website:

August Bank Holiday - Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th
Pork & Cider Festival
See the summer out in style and join us for some Bank Holiday fun - throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday we will have a barbeque going where you can sample some delicious free range pork and wash it down with a great selection of ciders and ales. Live music, face painting, magician and more!
Don't miss out on a weekend of live music, great food and of course great drinks! Fun for all the family!! See you there!

A woman walked into a bar, and asked the barman for a double entendre. He gave her one.

Slightly off topic, Pike!

See you, and others I am sure, on Sunday Afternoon.

A man (or woman) went to the pub, but the beer was so awful/off/expensive/boring/chilled/over-carbonated etc. etc. ,
he (or she) went home and had a home brew.

The Cross Hands has changed, and is now a little different. The landlord (Alex) used to be at the Farm in St Werburghs.

It's a reasonable, if not particularly cheap pub.
