London and Southeast competition

Post by PMowdes »

Hi All

Lee over at LAB is looking for judges and stewards for the London and Southeast homebrew comp in april. Details below. I think that the actual competition sold out in two days so if they can get some more judges then there might be more entries available.

Cheers

Phil

On behalf of London Amateur Brewers I am helping to organise the London and South East Craft Brewing Competition and Festival, a BJCP sanctioned competition for all beer styles. We have sold out (in 2 days!) at 250 entries but hope to increase that depending on how many judges we have.

The intent is to have some first round judging prior to the main day and then the ‘standard’ event we have so there will be two judging sessions.

Primarily we need to fill the main event judging on the morning of Saturday 30th April from 8:30AM at UBrew, Bermondsey. Breakfast and lunch are provided and the judging is followed by the festival, with talks and presentation ceremony etc.

We can potentially take on more entries if people can judge on the evening of Monday 18th April. from 6PM onwards, in Bermondsey, London. We will provide food on the night. We realise the timings may not be ideal for those outside London but perhaps can be linked with work trips etc (Pete Hughes...). Ideally we’re looking to attract 9 or 10 qualified judges.

If you can help, please register in the normal way here and mark your availability for each session:
