Matt drew my attention to this:
There is an American Beer Festival at Colston Yard, what was the great Smiles Brewery Tap on Colston Street, just up from head bangers heaven, The Gryphon (Good Real Ales there too!).
From what I've been able to glean (which is almost nothing) there will be five beers on draught and lots in bottles.
I am hoping for a Wet Mountain IPA, great at the GBBF.
It might be useful 'Research' for those wanting to join BJCP study group, so it's WORK, not just fun!!!!
It runs from Thursday Night today till Sunday.
OPENING TIMES:
Mon - Thurs: 11.00 am - 12.00 am
Fri & Sat: 11.00 am - 1.00 am
Sun: 11.00 am - 11.30 pm
Address: Colston Yard, Colston Street, Bristol. BS1 5BD
Tel: 0117 376 3232
I am planning to go on Saturday Afternoon, anyone want to join me?
I might even go Thursday Night, Who Knows?

News just in via the Bristol Camra News mailing:

Anchor Foghorn,
Anchor Breckles,
Goose island IPA,
Flying Dog,
Brooklyn Lager and

On draught there is juniper black ale, old foghorn barley wine, Brooklyn brewery, goose island ipa, flying dog raging birch. Lots of bottles, deck knows how much s bottle is, but this pint of goose island ipa was just short of five quid. It's nearly frozen too.
Hmm, not sure I can afford a session on Saturday.
