The scans of the judging sheets used in the BCB element of the competition are now online.
Some of the judges didn't put either their names, or the names of the entrants on the forms, making it a bit difficult to tell who was judging what beer. I will attempt to offer clearer instruction on how to fill out the forms at next month's BCB where we will be doing more structured tastings.

I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

Some very differing opinions there. Great differences that I am suprised at really, but then again, everbody has differing palates and there is no way around that. However it should be possible to get some form of 'palate calibration' or it becomes fairly meaningless.
