Was surprised there wasn't already a thread for this.
Anyway, who's going? I'll be there for the Thursday session as I can't make the Saturday.

Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.

I'm going on the Saturday early session and I'm looking forward to it.

I am going on Thursday evening and on the Saturday Lunchtime Session.
Really looking forward as ever!

Re: Camra Bristol Beer Festival 2013
Do you know if all of the ales are available at each session or will all the good ones have gone by Saturday?
60 percent of the time it works every time.
Re: Camra Bristol Beer Festival 2013
Some may be gone, but generally I find that the early Saturday session is fine for the first couple of hours.
Taz... or Chris. It's up to you.
Re: Camra Bristol Beer Festival 2013
Gonna have to try 'Granny Wouldn't Like It' and 'Hot Dog Chilli Stout' simply because of the names.

Supposed to be there on Thursday, but my ticket hasn't shown up yet.
Some other decent beers on that list, but might struggle to drink them all so any recommendations? Ilkley Sibera, Oakham green devil, Elland 1872, Magic Rock dark arts would be mine.

I can't make it for this, but I should be at the Great Welsh Beer Festival in Cardiff in June (and my beer should be there too).
I don't care for the Ilkley Siberia on cask - it just doesn't have the carbonation it needs and is just too flabby. And I rather feel that the Magic Rock Dark Arts might be the same. Cask is not the best presentation for some beers.
