Help with drill bit size?

Post by Bimster »

Anyone know what size hole you need to fit a 28mm brass compression tank connector? My internet interogation thus far has been fruitless.

I'm trying to construct a chimney for my boiler as per Tim's comment and picture on this thread:

Thanks.

You can borrow my caliper to measure the connector
Taz... or Chris. It's up to you.

Is it SS you are drilling James? Might be worth asking mrlard to do it for you, he has skills with SS.

stainless is all about having good tools - nasty bi metal cutters etc will just get you in trouble
