Ouch you hurt my feelings! ;-) I am pretty sure I win that title for anyone one who's seen my rig!?!?

I could build that for less than 20quid if Anyone is interested. Where do they get their prices from?

That almost as criminal as pinching a child from a park
At less than 20 quid I'd definitely be interested!

Remember you still need an O2 cylinder and regulator with this bit of kit. And the foaming when you oxygenate using O2 and an airstone is minimal ~1" or so, so I'm not clear what benefit this adds - even less so the $349 version!

I will concede the title of Mr. Gadget to Mr. Lard, though I am fast becoming Mr Trebus with all the stuff I have bought from Mr. Rog (and Mr. Lard) filling up my cellar...

But it is shiny!

I guess the benefit is in time saved by oxygenating as you run off rather, and a potential minimization of contamination risk by dropping the stone a hose in the beer. These are probably pretty minimal on a homebrew scale, but the issue might be greater when dealing with much more.

Let me look into knocking a prototype up when I get back home.

Steve where did you get your stone from is it barbed or threaded? If barbed can you measure the diameter on the end nearest the stone to see if I can can get a thread on it

Smashing thanks

This, I think is where the money in the morebeer version is. The stainless diffusion stone is $45 - http://morebeer.com/view_product/16618/ ... -_2_Micron

Only looked briefly on my phone but was thinking of threading up something similar to this

I'm sure that would be fine as a stone, but is there a long enough hose tail for a thread and tubing without costly and complex modification? This looks like the tricky bit to me, but I'll defer to you as my metalwork skills stop at cutting, drilling, and using a spanner.

Plan is to somehow thread one up and then fit it into a T piece. Failing that I will could weld it to a reducing coupling. Could ideally do with seeing one first I will await Steves measurement and supplier details and go from there. :-)
