Storing Grains

Post by periolus »

Hi! I will be after some food-grade containers that will be air-tight, water-tight and suitable for storing grains for brewing. Can anyone recommend any suppliers/products that would do? They would need to be animal proof too!

This might be worth looking at, although I would check to see what they previously contained:

I use the same type of container for my grain

I doubt that plastic would be animal proof, does depend on the animal, rats would be through it in no time. Mind you the steel drums would never stand up to a sustained and frenzied attack by a herd of elephants.
