Hmm, shame, did it matter if the cylinder was upright or horizontal?

Did you get some CO2 from Bablake and how much was the deposit from Whites?

I picked up a couple last Wednesday, prices have changed a little; 14lb CO2 cylinder (ex VAT) £16.76 + £5 deposit, so its £26.11 Inc VAT for the first one and then £20.11 when you swap out the empty one.

Just waiting for my other bits and pieces to come through so I can set up with kegs.

I have been hunting round Bristol trying to find a small co2 bottle and I have finally found somewhere. "Runrite Ltd"
Has anyone used this company before or know a cheaper place to get a 3.15kg bottle?

Runrite Ltd
3.15kg - deposit £55, fill £15
2L - deposit £25, fill £12

Larger bottles work out cheaper:

Bablake wines
14lb, £6 deposit, £20.32 to fill

Whites
14lb, £24 deposit, £22.79 to fill

I've always used whites but i don't think i payed £24 deposit. A larger cyllinder will last ages, i think i get through about one a year.
60 percent of the time it works every time.

I need a small bottle as I don't have the room for a larger one. Unfortunately the smaller bottles are very hard to find.
