What's warrior like as a late or dry hop? I assumed it was very similar to simcoe as I have heard they share similar parentage and co-humulone levels. I've also heard it comes over quite piney too and was tempted to dry-hop my last IPA with it, but opted for something else in the end.

I guess there are some ways that Warrior could be seen as similar to Simcoe, but I get different things from it. I get a spciy woodiness (a la Northern Brewer) rather than pine, some floral notes and a sweet citrus. It complements Simcoe very well though.

It's actually a hop which stood up pretty well on its own in Sixpoint's single hop series as well

If I have any of this around in early April when I come to Bristol I'll bring it for you to try.
