Willy Wort - New Years Beers

Post by alikocho »

All this talk about willy waving reminded me of Auld Lange Syne's last verse:

'And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught,
for auld lang syne'

Right. This is the challenge then - drink a beer made from a "right gude-willy waught" on New Years Eve and report back. I have Brooklyn Black Ops cellared stateside for it, and might have Sam Adams/Schneider Infinium and whatever is left from doing the Stone Vertical Epic (tomorrow I will have a full set in doubles from 02.02.02 to 12.12.12) a day late on Thursday when I hit New York and get to my US cellar.

I so wish I could say that I had a 'US cellar'. That is infinitely cool ; )

Not sure I can make a beer made from 'willy-waught', but the haze in my recent AG brew looks like it could have come from a GUM clinic. There the similarities with willies end.

Naah, pain in the arris. Yer sat there one night thinking that a pint of old scruttock would go down nicely. Then you realise 'oh fuck ,I'm 3000 odd miles from my cellar, I may be some time'.
