The FV with Windsor yeast wanted to give up at 1.050 and needed rousing and a slight temperature increase in order to encourage it to complete it's task. US-05 steadilly munched away in the other FV.
As of yesterday both are at 1.030, just a few points off the final predicted gravity of 1.027.

18 litres bottled today, a very tasty brew, I predict it will drop a few more points slowly and so this brews not been primed at all. The remainder in a corny keg to be force carbonated.

Re: Stout stuff
Tried this tonight, two weeks in the bottle and I really like it. This can come to the next BCB meeting.

Looks like a kilo (not 2.2lbs!) of Chocolate is de rigueur or at least fashionable, in a 23L Brew, are (a good few) of you up for splitting a sack of either chocolate or low colour chocolate Malt?
The craft beer revolution will not be sanitised!

Chocolate malt is so last week. Special Carafa I is the new chocolate. Do try and keep up.

I'll go in on some more chocolate malt Steve. I have used about 3 kilos recently....

Currently drinking this and it's kept well, lots of liquorice flavour coming out.
