I've meaning to put this on for ages, so here it is
Mountain Goat IPA
For a 22 litre batch.
All water used carbon filtered and Burtonised with CRS and DLS.
4.5 kg Pale malt (warminster)
250g Carapils
250g wheat malt
1.5hrs mash 67-66oC
90mins boil
Hop additions
At 90 mins from end: 60g Columbus (12.6% AA)
30g Centennial (11.7% AA)
30g Simcoe (12.9% AA)
1 tsp of irish moss
At 20 mins from end: 20g Nelson Sauvin (11.3% AA)
End of boil: 30g Fuggles + 30g Nelson Sauvin
30 minutes steep (90oC) before coiling with coil.
Original gravity = 1050
Wyeast british ale (1098) yeast used.
Racked off to secondary after 5 days.
Dry hopped with 20g Nelson Sauvin + 20g Fuggles for 2 weeks then bottled with 80g glucose to batch.
Final gravity = 1011.
