It's definitely endorsed by John Keeling, whether it is actually Fuller's yeast....
I seem to recall that the fermentation schedule for Fuller's ESB has been published, possibly in a podcast?? To replicate it would need some temperature control. Was it parti-gyled too?

I saw on another forum that a guy had written to lallemand/danstar, and they said it was just a re-release of a discontinued yeast from yesteryear. It used to be called something else. I don't know how reliable plebs on the internet are, though, so I'd take this with a pinch of salt.

My mate gave me a bottle yesterday of a mild he brewed with it about a month ago. He's previously brewed it with WLP002 so it will be interesting to see how different it is.

Quite similar (from memory) to the version brewed with WLP002 in terms of flavour but this dry version is nowhere near as flocculant as the WLP002
