Challenger Hops (Sept 14 Harvest )

Post by darrenw »

Hi,

My current crop of Challenger is about to be ready, https://goo.gl/photos/j4ZZQ9uddkiZWQMe6, so have a surplus (2kg) of them in my freezer, cant give you a IBU for them so would be ideal for aroma.

Welcome any swaps, will also be taking some to the BCB meetup this Monday.

Also have a surplus of Wheat malt

I'm trying to decide if my Progress and Cascade are ready, but they are still quite green and moist. Are yours papery and resinous? I think it's at least 2 weeks before I would harvest mine.

Vac packing and freezing in a solid block works very well.
