My attempt at delirium nocturnum, brewed in the searing heat of goldney gala yesterday. I was brewing next to the pond there and the goldfish were enjoying the rinsings of the mash tun, nibbling on the spent grain.

Pitched 2L of trappist 500 starter at ~28C after oxygenation. Now in my cellar at ~22C and going well. Ideally a fruity, malty but quaffable dubbel but we shall see.

Sounds nice, and brewing Belgians in the summer when you need a slightly higher fermenting temp is a good idea. I'm gonna get some strong belgians brewed soon.. once I figure out what I'm doing.

Can't wait to see how this turns out. What kind of figures are you expecting?
