cleaning coil
Hi I am wanting to clean my copper coil which I use to cool my wert it has been suggested that I use white distilled vinegar I know that it has to be mixed with water but has anyone any at what rate to use it or any other ideas on how to clean it only my beers are not up to scratch so I am seriously cleaning everything Rodney
Re: cleaning coil
Your coil will be fine if you sling it in you boiler 15 before the end. The only reason I would ever clean copper is if it where new.

Agreed. Pre-boil equipment just gets a hose down and air-dried.mrlard wrote:Your coil will be fine if you sling it in you boiler 15 before the end. The only reason I would ever clean copper is if it where new.
