Free training in apple picking (aka help required)

Post by I_used_to_brew »

If anyone is free during the period of Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th to assist in some heavy duty apple picking then let me know. One person can pick 300kg a day easily, with more than one it could be done it much less time. I'll want to take a tonne.

I pay in cider.

The cider apple season is a little ahead of schedule at the orchard and I'm going to have to crack on with it. This is completely seperate to the other cidermaking event.

Daytime, say 10am start, finish by mid afternoon. Thursday is the BCB meeting so Friday and Saturday are looking like the days I'm going for.

Those full sacks were feckin heavy, especially the little Dabinetts.

Good fun on both days, quite a bit of work ahead, something like 25 runs of the press - starting soon.
