Greetings from Cornwall

Post by jwonnacott »

I hope I'm allowed on here as I'm a bit of a way from Bristol. I did live there for a while in the seventies when I used to spend eight hours a day patrolling the Clifton and Redland areas sporting a tall hat, big boots and a heavy wooden stick in my pocket!
My father started brewing when I was 10 and continued into his eighties. I took it on when he passed to the Great Brewery Above and I've been at it for ten years or so now.
Both Father and I only ever used extract but over the past few months I've been looking at moving to AG, hence my arrival on this forum and the Craft Brewing one. I'm currently reading John Palmer's "How to brew" to get an idea of what is involved in AG.

I now work in IT managing a network in a school in Cornwall.
