transporting beer
ok you guys we are off to Scotland again 22 may I want to take a barrel of beer with me my only problem is that driving all that distance I will disturb all the sediment in the bottom of the barrel I have got one maturing at the moment should be ready by the time I go I have a spare barrel I was thinking of racking it into that and leave the sediment behind I will pressurize it with co2 what do you think

Re: transporting beer
Rack off to a bag in a box, prime lightly and enjoy! Or use a beer engine and enjoy more.
Re: transporting beer
I used to stick it in cornies and take a portable CO2 supply and party tap...
I have heard stainless growlers are proving quite popular
