Draft at Blind Tiger in NYC.
Deep gold. Hazy. White head with reasonable retention. Strong citrus and gooseberry aroma. Flavour matches aroma with low malt flavour (toast with some caramel). Moderate bitterness. Long bitter finish with fruity sweetness,.
A very drinkable American? IPA. A good lesson to be learned here with NS - finish dry to balance the perceived sweetness from the hop.

Agreed, I had the last 2 bottles of my nelson pale I did over the summer at Christmas with my dad and it had improved drastically. Much dried than when I was first drinking it making it actually pretty good. I may have to change my opinion again on N.S.alikocho wrote:A good lesson to be learned here with NS - finish dry to balance the perceived sweetness from the hop.
Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.
