Brains Craft Ales

Post by PMowdes »

More from Friday night......

We tried

Weiss Weiss baby (Bavarian Weiss)
Barry island IPA (American IPA)
Weiss Weiss berry (Bavarian Weiss with berries)

All pretty disappointing really.

Three IPA could have done with a lot more Hops
60 percent of the time it works every time.

Had the IPA. Awful, nasty beer, and definitely not what it purported to be. It got lot of hype as the Real Ale Guide chap on YouTube did it as a collab with Brains.

Seems like Brains are very much trying to get on the craft ales band wagon. I have to say that it's a bit as good as the good of their other standard ales, poor (sorry Welsh folk)

Out where I am, Brains are referred to as Wales' worst brewery and people avoid their beer. I doubt you're offending anyone.

Having grown up in Wales I agree with Ali, Brains is awful stuff.
