Organisation?

Post by I_used_to_brew »

Would it be a good idea to have a small group of people meet on a regular basis between now and the comp to help ease things along? Otherwise, Ali, it seems like you're on your own untill the day! There are plenty of people who want to help, unless they know how, they can't!

It might work to have a regular meeting, but to be honest, right now there's not much organization to be done. What would be good would be a meeting in July, before bottles start coming in, and then one in late August. The real work will come in the week leading up to the competition and on the day.

Could those who are willing to help, and are committed to doing so, please contact me and we'll start organizing a meeting time.

Happy to help in the run up, but can't assist at the event i'm afraid due to a clash with the End of the Road festival.

I'll talk more about what needs doing on Thursday at the Bristol Craft Brewers meeting.

At the moment I need a registrar, and likely more stewards (you get a free lunch, and beer).

I will also need some transport help to get some of the prizes from my house to Southville.

I can fill my car. If necessary I might have access to a van.
