Post by Capn Ahab »

I am damn low on malt, so if anyone wants to get a sack of malt bring £20 along to next week's meeting and we'll sort this bulk buy shiz out pronto.

Perfect I'm getting low too. See you there.

My IPA is finally showing decent bottle conditioning, so I'll likely be bring that along.

I'm getting low on beer all round, so it might have to be another outing for my imperial IPA. Let's hope Bruce turns up to sample it!

I'll be bringing my Black IPA. Have just poured the first few pints from the keg tonight. I must say for my first attempt I'm quite happy, but looking forward to letting you all tell me what's wrong with it ;)

So, if I've got this straight... you've got this guy who turns up, doesn't bring beer, drinks all the samples and eats the crackers? That's ridiculous....

Personally I thought he was pretty good value, and at least he gave an honest opinion.

Well he only showed up once... not quite in the same league as that Andy guy....

He was hilarious, because he just slotted right in and we all thought he was there for BBC. He had no idea what we were doing and then he slated every beer he tried, but in a really honest and polite way. He had been at the bar and decided to see why people were walking upstairs.

I don't think we'll ever see him again. To give him credit, he did brew some kits in the mid-80's.
