Meeting on Thursday 16th August - 7.30pm, Miners Arms

Post by Capn Ahab »

Next Thursday: Miners Arms, Mina Road, St Werburghs - all welcome.

Please bring IPA's for consideration for our entry into the club competition if you have one. You should have a clear idea of which BJCP category your IPA fits into as we will try and select the one that best meets the style guidelines, (I'm on my phone, so would appreciate it if someone could post up a link) - any IPA from class 14. If unsure ask Ali, Bim or Taz for advice prior to the meeting. This is open to new members too.

If you have no IPA or you don't give a monkeys about competing, cool. Just bring along a couple of beers to share and discuss.

I won't be there as I'll be somewhere hot and sunny, so can a few regulars try and get there on time and open up the room, in case those two who did the disappearing act last month turn up again. Ta.

I shall be in a field praying it doesn't rain. Have fun without me.
Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.

I'm bringing a single bottle of very young bitter that might, just might, creep into IPA territory.
