Hi All,
Massive congratulations to Ali on the successful launch of his Bristol Beer Factory competition winning Indian Ink, Black IPA at the Grain Barge this evening. A damn fine night and a damn fine beer - go out and find some before he brews the second batch!
Also a quick reminder that this Thursday is the next public meeting of the Bristol Brewing Circle upstairs at the Miners Arms, Mina Road, St Werburghs at 7.30pm.
We are a social group primarily focussed on making and improving homebrewed beers and welcome any level of brewer.
This month we will be looking at the forthcoming national Homebrew Competition held in Bristol this September:
http://www.bristolhomebrewcompetition.org.uk and will be tasting homebrewed beers with regards to the comp.
We have a knowledgeable group of local brewers that can take you through the basics or discuss the finer points of fermentation, so please come along if this is your tipple. As ever, if you have homebrewed beer to share, please bring it along (limit 2 bottles - we support the pub!).
We may also be trying s number of homebrewed ciders this month, so feel free to bring cider along too.
Cheers,
The BBC

I'll be there for sure then, about 7.30 ish, I'll bring a stout too.
Re: Meeting this Thursday
I'll be there. I might be a little late as I've got a brew going with half an hour left on the boil and I need to pop over to Marks to pick up some Munich.
Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.

I'll be there, and I'm happy to chair again.
