A heads up to anyone interested.
The next club competition is wheat beers to be hosted by London Amateur Brewers, or LAB Rats as they're otherwise known. If you want a chance to enter then probably best to get brewing now as we will have to make a decision some time before the middle of June.
We can discuss further at the next meeting.
FYI I have enough wheat malt probably for two 20 l brews that I'm not planning to use as well as two packs of danstar/lallemand Munich yeast, so give me a shout if you're interested.

Fine. I'll bring it to the meeting next week, or come get it if you want it sooner.Mike Palmer wrote:I'll take some wheat off you- about 2.5kg?
I have plenty more if anyone else wants.

Re-primed it. Serving it cold also helps. Bitterness is fine, carbonation was ruining the mouthfeel.
It's good.
