Whatcha bringing to the January meeting?

Post by alikocho »

Next meeting is on 19 January. What beer are you bringing?

I'm going to bring the Black Monk that would have gone into the BCB winter warmer comp had I been able to attend. It's a 7% Belgian Porter fermented with a trappist (WLP 510) and a saison yeast (WLP 566). Belgian and German Malts, with noble hops.

It has a fellow, Black Funk, aged on Brett B, that has yet to be bottled/kegged. Should be ready by February.

Probably the bitter I bought to BCB this month as this is all I have available at the moment.

Looks like I will be able to make it to the Jan meeting. I'll either bring my TT Landlord or a new beer which I have called Extraordinarily Ordinary Bitter... The yeast doesn't seem to be very flocculent though so it is still very cloudy...
