I won't make this as the distance is now a little too great....

I'll see some of you on Saturday morning for the BJCP exam though....

Hi, my name's Bob and I'm hoping to come along to the next meeting.
I'm pretty new to brewing beer, but hopefully you don't mind novices!
Having not been to any of the meetings before, is there some sort of secret handshake/password or do I just look for the group of guys drinking beer?!
Hmm, that might be tricky in a pub...

We usually gather downstairs from 7:30 ish, often earlier, before heading upstairs to the meeting room. Large group of people all drinking real ale should be easy to spot.

And remember that you have to put a crisply folded fiver into the hand of each person as you shake hands with them, otherwise you might not get accepted.

I'm coming too, this will be my final BCB before I emigrate [sad face]. I will bring my final two bottles of last year's winter warmer. Beware the club competition next year, because the Shetland Homebrewing Alliance (Tingwall) might be challenging the dominance of BCB/BBC/LAB next year.
Long live SHA(T)!
