August 2012 Meeting

BCB meet on the 1st Monday of every month at 8pm in the Royal Navy Volunteer, King Street.

I shall be there with an IPA
Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.

It should be noted that August 2 is International IPA Day.

Ali are you bringing the requested yeast slants to BCB? I have some new empty test tubes with caps i can exchange with you if so.

I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

I'll be there, but I haven't cultured them up yet so won't be bringing them. Life's been a bit hectic and I was away for a couple of weeks.

Next time I would up the bittering hops. I recommend the WLP002, very floccy, nice and clean.

Nice work Steve. I thought it was the best beer in the comp and the only reason I didn't vote for it was that I thought it was mine so I voted for number 2 instead which turned out to be mine. I was pretty confused for a while however I was somewhat pissed.

Me*,Taz and Finlay had 1 vote each

Using Rich's logic SteveC would have gained one vote and Rich would have one vote less.
