October 3rd Meeting - please note

Post by I_used_to_brew »

Due to popular demand our meeting in October will be be for home made (alcoholic) drinks other than beer. That can mean, wine, cider, mead and various vodka/gin based infusions etc.

If anyone would like to offer a talk based on these types of drinks that would be great.

Happy to share my limited knowledge of wine making..
I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

Thank you Steve. I'll split the time with you and do something about cider making.

You know what, I thought the brew meeting last night was great, so great in fact that I don't remember leaving! Seriously : /

Anyway, I'll make sure I speak with my father in-law about sourcing some Morgan's Sweet apples and I'll make a batch of cider for next year's October meeting.

Thanks to Steve and Roger for organising the talks, I've come away inspired to make wine.

Simon.
