March 2014 Meeting

Post by steve crawshaw »

Hi

Just your monthly notification of the forthcoming meeting: 6th March, 8PM start at the ROYAL NAVY VOLUNTEER, King Street.
Please remember to buy a beer or two at the bar as the RNV is letting us use the rooom for free.

Please also note that there is an election for chair at this meeting. Nominations to me please.

If you feel like donating a bottle of ale to the bar staff, please bring one along.

Draft Agenda:

1. Introductions
2. Bulk buy \ hop contract update.
3. Events
4. Competitions
5. Election of chair (nominations to me before the meeting please)
6. Bramling Crossover - tastings, feedback and discussion
7. Break at the bar
8. Tastings of other beers

Let me know if you want anything added to the agenda.

cheers
steve
I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

I wonder how many versions of the test brew we will have to sample? I didn't manage to find the time to brew one though.

The CBA interclub thingy is this month so don't the entries need consideration (however this works across both clubs)

No idea Steve. I contacted Ali and he hasn't come back to me with the details. I do know that LAB (hosts) have chosen their entry.

I appreciate the difficulties, but it's not a very fair contest if the entry details aren't publicised :)
