Venues

Post by steve crawshaw »

As discussed we are looking for a permanent home, so please ask around. Must be a central location and within ~£20 a night for the room. Let me know if you identify a suitable place.

I have confirmed the Golden Guinea for November and December's meetings.
cheers

Can we buy them a new air freshener and some bleach for the toilet?

Didn't someone mention the Bag of nails? I'd be up for that.

Apparently there are feline hygiene issues.

Looks like the Royal navy volunteer are putting the finishing touches to their function room. Might be worth making an enquiry. It's pretty central.

I wonder if the new place on small street might have a function room????

Bag of nails hasn't been sorted out yet but I think it would be worth looking again once Luke has done the refit.
Burns stuff. And makes beer. Usually not at the same time.

I think having Luke on the premises would be worse than having Phil at the Cornubia.

As for the Volly at £10 a pint they can fuck right off.

Thought you might say that Roger, and i completely agree. I can kind of understand American or european beers being pricey because of the milage, but british beer should never be that steep unless it is spectacular.
