Brewing and beer tasting workshops at the folk house, Sunday

Post by steve crawshaw »

Hi

I'm running a homebrewing workshop with emphasis on the environmental aspects of brewing. Tom Smart is running a beer tasting workshop (also with food). Mike Wiper is hopefully purveying some of his fine ales through the folk house bar. The Folk House will be doing some special food to go with beer. All this is happening on Sunday 23rd from 11:00.

The city centre will be car - free (except my car which will be full of vessels and kit) and there will be loads of activities on and around park street for families. You can sign up for the workshops here:

but you won't be turned away if you haven't. The brewing one is free, the tasting one a couple of quid to cover costs. Tell your friends, hope to see some of you there.

I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.
