Probably a pressure cooker will do, if not steam as I use for the corny kegs. Anyway, it's not going to block with a lardy filter!
autoclave or pressure cooker is overkill if you ask me

Re: Best Brewday Ever

I am thinking of renaming those hop filters "the HP filter" roger as for the mash tun i am doing 60s and 80s :-) I am bashing up one of each along with a couple of 50's this week if you want to come and have a little look. the 80 is quite frankly stupid i am pretty sure i could hide in it....

Re: Conical stainless fermenter

just to keep all interested parties in the loop - plans are a foot to get one of these ordered and shipped over the next few months.

if all works out - then I am happy to repeat for everyone if not well at least you will know and not spent anything.

Re: Simcoe anyone?

i don't have a vac packer but i do have an impulse sealer and a load of poly lay flat tubing. so could bodge something together if you get stuck.

Re: Not so Barnsey Clone Recipe

thats pretty dam close chap

swap the amber for wheat and drop the IBUs to around low 20's

ferment on 1099

well that used to be it.

i also like to do 5% choc with half in at the start of mash and 1/2 in at sparge.
