Re: dry hopping
I've used leaf hops to make a hop tea in a coffee jug. Wait three or four days for most of the CO2 is disperse. Let the hops steep for 20 minutes to let the boiling water cool. Press down the filter and pour into the FV. Repeat with another jug of boiling water to get the most out of the hops. I was...

Re: moving holes up
Is it really worth faffing around when you can get a new 25 litre FV with lid for £4.99 delivered (if your total spend is over £10). I was also looking in Wilko's where some of their rectangular storage containers have food-safe stamps.

Re: Storage of grain
Wilko's sell an 80 litre storage container with lid for £7 which you could probably fit a sack into. Wouldn't be totally airtight but the amount of moisture transfer would be minimal. If worried, tape the lid or dump a spoonful of Calcium Chloride in the bottom.

Re: steralizing bottles
I use a two litre jug of 1.25ml/l videne solution to sanitise cleaned bottles. It only needs 20 seconds contact time. I pour a cupful of solution into a bottle and shake. Repeat until the jug is empty, then shake the bottles as I drain back into the jug. Then on to the next batch of bottles. Before ...
