My bottle capper has a habit of ripping the top off some bottles. It mostly happens with American and German bottles, where the distance between the top and the ridge are smaller than British ones. One of the places I called was offering bottles smaller than 14lb. It might have been Bablake, White's or Bristol Gas.

I saw a great post on building a semi-auto keg washer a few months ago on a forum. It used a modified sankey connector, a pump and a couple of tanks for cleaner and sanitiser. If enough people switched to kegs perhaps it would be worthwhile building one as a group? I went to see Tim's setup a little...

I'd love to take a few of these off your hands, but I'm moving in about 2 months so it wouldn't be worth planting them where I currently live. How long will these keep out of the ground? Could I plant them in a pot then transfer to the garden later?

Monday's actually work rather well for me. I have been missing quite a lot of meetings in both BCB and BBC due to overlaps with other groups and work.
